Low to impact Prairies, Ontario, & Atlantic Canada

Posted by on Saturday, December 24, 2016

An intense Colorado Low is on track to deliver 15 to 30 cm of snow to southern Manitoba and extreme southeastern Saskatchewan beginning on Christmas Day.

In Ontario, we can expect snow north of the track, and a mix of rain along the lake shores. In central and northern Ontario snowfall amounts of 20 to 30 cm is possible.

Portions of central Quebec will receive similar amounts by Tuesday.

Over Atlantic Canada, we will see the continuation of the rain/snow line.

This storm will also bring with it widespread strong winds.
