Heavy rains over the Village of Queen Charlotte, on Haida Gwaii B.C., caused a landslide on Monday.

Both trees and rocks  were scattered on the highway. The road was blocked for a time.

Over the course of eight hours that area accumulated 60 mm of rain.

There were no injuries.

Power was knocked out and the highway was closed to traffic for several hours.
