Lake Erie Ship Lost 118 Years Ago Found

A ship that was missing for 118 years has been found.

Back in 1899 the Margaret Olwill, a steamer sank during a Nor'easter on Lake Erie.

The wreckage has been found in waters off Lorain, Ohio. 

Nine people were on-board at the time of the sinking, all perished.

Among the discoveries were framing posts, two anchor chains, and the ship’s 14-foot stem.
