It is the unofficial end of summer. The Labour Day Weekend is the last chance for most of us to get out to the cottage or go camping one last time before summer comes to an end.

Mother Nature will be nice to us in Atlantic Canada this weekend. It is looking like sun and cloud Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with highs for most major centres in the mid twenties. On Monday parts of New Brunswick will get up to 30 with a chance of showers. There is a chance of showers on Saturday on Prince Edward Island.

Across Ontario and Quebec warm weather will continue with highs near 30 for southern sections. There is a chance of showers for most areas all weekend, some steadier rain is possible in eastern Quebec on Monday. Northern Ontario will mostly see fair weather all weekend.

The Prairies will start out the weekend nice, although a odd thunderstorm cannot be ruled out. On Monday a system moving through Alberta and Saskatchewan may deliver some showers to most areas.

Southern British Columbia is looking at a nice weekend with temperatures near 20 under a mix of sun and cloud. Northern sections of the province will see showers.

Enjoy the weekend!
