It has been a long four years but the Government of Japan says radiation levels at town of Naraha have fallen to acceptable levels.

The town site just 16 kilometers south of the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant. If residents so choose, they can now return. Prior to the disaster close to 7,400 people lived in the town.

The Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant is a disabled BWR nuclear power plant located on a 3.5-square-kilometre site in the towns of Ōkuma and Futaba in the Futaba District of Fukushima Prefecture.
