A system will push through Newfoundland beginning early on Saturday morning.

Rain is expected for most of the island however the Northern Peninsula may see some ice pellets and some snow. Central Newfoundland will see some snow by mid-morning on Saturday.

From there the low will stall just east of Newfoundland.

On the backside of the low, snow is likely for many areas including the Avalon, Central, and the West coast along with parts of Labrador.

In fact some areas me see some accumulating snowfall.

Precipitation will gradually come to an end early Monday morning.

This seems like typical Victoria Day Weekend weather.
