Incoming Storm for Atlantic Canada

Atlantic Canada will be seeing another storm.

Snow will begin early this morning over southwestern New Brunswick and then spread to the remainder of the province by noon. The snow is expected to mix with rain this afternoon over parts of southeastern New Brunswick. Precipitation will end this evening.

Over Prince Edward Island snow mixed with rain will develop this morning. The snow-rain mix will change to rain near noon. Heavy rain is expected. The rain may mix with ice pellets at times.

Heavy rain is expected over Nova Scotia and strong wind. Atlantic coastal regions of Nova Scotia could see up to 80 mm of rain, elsewhere, 30 to 40 millimetres of rain is expected. When the rain begins it may be mixed with snow at times.

Strong wind is expected across Newfoundland. The west coast could see snow squalls develop on Thursday with amounts of 20 cm possible. For central Newfoundland and the Avalon only rain or drizzle is expected with strong wind.

In Labrador heavy snow with 15 to 25 cm possible along with gusty winds.
