Hurricane Florence, and Post Hurricane Gordon Update

Posted by Christopher Poitras on Thursday, September 6, 2018

Post Tropical Storm Gordon will make its way up to the Great Lakes region by Sunday.   This storm will affect areas in New York State, and Southern Ontario, with lots of rainfall, although nothing severe is expected.

Hurricane Florence is expected to pick up speed and strengthen by Saturday.  Forecasters are expecting Florence to reach the potential of a Category 2 status, over the weekend.   Even though this storm is not near land, it is expected to reach landfall by no later than next Saturday, with potentially reaching the NE coast of the USA, and/or the Maritime Provinces.
