Hottest Temperature Ever in Kuwait

If you think it is hot where you live think again! The UN weather agency says that it is quite possible that a 54°C temperature recorded in Kuwait has set a record for the eastern hemisphere.

Mitrabah, Kuwait, along with a good portion of the Middle East, has been sweltering in a number of heat waves in recent weeks.

In some spots the temperature has almost reached 40°C, and heat index values in some areas reaching 46.
The highest temperature ever recorded was 56.7°C was recorded at Furnace Creek in Death Valley, California, in 1913.
