Rain is coming to an end along the west coast this morning.

Last night there was heavy rain across the region and gusty winds. Precipitation will taper to showers or drizzle this morning.

For central and the east coast a warm and humid airmass will move over eastern Newfoundland today.

Along the west coast, it will be much cooler today as a cold front slices across the area.

This weekend will be a washout for the Avalon with rainfall amounts of 75+ mm possible.

In northern Labrador, rain will continue today. 35 to 50 millimetres is expected by this afternoon.
