No, it's not the popular song "Hot and Cold" by Katy Perry, its the several new hot and cold weather records set across Atlantic Canada.

It's been hot across Nova Scotia. On June 1 Yarmouth, NS set a new hot record of 24.7°C the old record of 22.8°C was set in 1944. 

Charlottetown, PEI set a new record of -0.1°C beating the old record of 1.1°C set in 1903. On June 1 Churchill Falls set a new cold record of -5.7°C. The old record of -5.4°C was set in 1978. Also, Badger set a new record of -3.1°C. The old record of -2.9°C was set in 2015.
