High Temperatures Records Broken in Yukon

Several areas of the Yukon territory set new daily maximum temperature records on Thursday.

Some of the recorded temperatures were in the double digits. The average high for this time of year in Whitehorse is 2.4°C.

Temperatures are expected to remain warm through next week.

The following stations set records on March 28, 2019: 

BURWASH LANDING AREA

Old record 9.1 set in 2016

CARMACKS AREA

FARO AREA
