Posted by on Monday, March 14, 2016

A developing elongated area of low pressure will bring cogent amounts of snow to portions of the eastern Prairies throughout Tuesday. Total snowfall accumulations of 15 to 25 cm is possible before tapering off on Wednesday morning.

Snow won't be the only problem. Showers and even an isolated thunderstorm are set to develop early Tuesday morning over southwest Manitoba and into the Red River Valley.

At the same time over parts of the Red River Valley 20 mm of rain is possible.
