Posted by on Wednesday, October 11, 2017

Snow has been falling over parts of Saskatchewan and Manitoba for several hours now and this will continue Thursday.

An area of low pressure will undergo rapid intensification on Thursday afternoon and night.

Heavy snow is expected from Slave Lake to Tadoule Lake with total amounts of 15-25 cm possible.

There is a slight risk of freezing rain along the transition zone.

Wind coming from the south gusting from 40 km/h to 60 km/h will develop across Manitoba.
