Heavy Rain to Continue in Southeastern NL

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Monday, July 16, 2018

Rainy and generally unsettled conditions are continuing in southeastern Newfoundland today.

On top of the rain that has already fallen, another 30 to 50 mm is possible, especially over the southern Avalon.

The rain will abate on Tuesday morning.

After this rain event, there will be a chance of showers over the Avalon until the end of the work week. As of now the weekend looks good.

Meanwhile sub-tropical storm Beryl is located well south of the Maritimes and is expected to become a post-tropical storm by this morning.
