An area of low pressure will gather strength over the
Midwest on Wednesday and deliver rain to Northeastern, Central, and Southern
Ontario, and Quebec on Thursday, and Atlantic Canada by the weekend.
The heaviest rain is expected over central Ontario where 20
to 30 mm is expected.
Then a second low will move through and bring heavy rain to
Southern Ontario on Friday and Saturday. Some areas could see up to 40 mm of
rain which may cause some localized flooding.
There will be gusty winds on Thursday which may cause some power
Areas along the northern shore of the St. Lawrence River
will also see heavy rain. 40 to 50 mm is possible which may cause flooding in
