Heat and Humidity Continues Across Atlantic Canada

Excessive heat is still lingering across Atlantic Canada.

While temperatures are a few degrees cooler in Newfoundland today, there are still heat warnings in effect for parts of western, central, southern, and eastern Newfoundland. Temperatures expected to reach 26 to 28 degrees. Humidex values will reach as high as 34 over these areas before cooler air arrives tonight.

Nova Scotia will have the warm weather sticking around until at least the end of the long weekend. High's of 29 degrees is expected with humidex values near 37.

On Prince Edward Island 27 will be the daytime high with humidex values near 35.

Daytime highs will remain near 30 degrees for the majority of New Brunswick.
