Get Set for Arctic Blast

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Friday, December 22, 2017

Very cold Arctic air will sink south in the coming days.

On Monday, Christmas Day, and a few days beyond, most areas of Canada, with the exception of southern British Columbia, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland, will only see high temperatures at minus 10 or lower.

Across Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and northern Ontario, temperatures on Sunday through Wednesday won't get above minus 20 and overnight lows will dip to minus 35 in spots.

Southern Ontario will hover around minus 5 for daytime highs.

Southern Quebec and New Brunswick will see temperatures in the minus teens.
