It is a cold morning across far northern Ontario with wind chill values dipping into the minus 40 range.

Wind chills will be just as cold tonight.

Elsewhere across Ontario, snow will move into Southern Ontario this afternoon into evening. Snowfall accumulations of 5 to 10 cm may be possible across portions of Southern Ontario. There may be a risk of freezing rain over parts of Southwestern Ontario after midnight.

The snow will continue across portions of the Golden Horseshoe and Central and Eastern Ontario on Friday, with additional accumulations up to 5 cm possible.
