Fort McMurray wildfires force evacuations.

Some residents of Fort McMurray have been evacuated as a wildfire threatens neighborhoods.

Fort McMurray mayor has declared a 'localized state of emergency' for neighborhood threatened by wildfire.

The Regional Fire Chief of Wood Buffalo, Darby Allen, is warning that the fire may hit the urban area overnight.

There are mandatory evacuation orders for Prairie Creek and Centennial Trailer Park. Also a voluntary evacuation in Gregoire. 

So far the fire has burned about 130 hectares.

R.M. of Wood Buffalo near Fort MacKay and Wallace Creek
R.M. of Wood Buffalo near Fort McMurray and Anzac
R.M. of Wood Buffalo near Gipsy Lake and Whitemud Falls
R.M. of Wood Buffalo near Grand Rapids Wildland Prov. Park
R.M. of Wood Buffalo near Janvier South and Conklin
R.M. of Wood Buffalo near Mariana Lake
R.M. of Wood Buffalo near Stony Mtn Prov. Park and Engstrom Lake
Smoke from a wildfire southwest of Fort McMurray is expected to produce poor air quality and reduced visibilities in some areas. Smoke near the ground may cause high health risk conditions.
