Flooding Threatens Taber Alberta

Taber, Alberta is under an emergency alert after catastrophic flooding.

While no mandatory evacuation order is in place, residents may voluntarily evacuate to a local hotel.

RCMP say that 250 sections of roads have been closed. There is no time set for when the roads are expected to reopen.
Highways 521 and 526 were flooded or washed out.

There are multiple properties flooded or at a risk of flooding.
