Flooding Rain for BC this Week

Posted by on Monday, October 31, 2016

It will be an unsettled couple of days across coastal British Columbia as a lot of moisture from the Pacific will head onshore followed by a strong low pressure system that will move into the region in through Wednesday.

As it does so, it will bring some significant rain with 150 to 300 millimeters of rain possible by Thursday, especially over Northern Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland.

Winds will gust over 100 km/h on Wednesday as well. These winds can damage trees and power lines.
