First Tornado of the Season in Quebec

Environment and Climate Change Canada have confirmed the first tornado of the season in Quebec.

Back on Monday July 23rd a waterspout formed across lake Deligny in Lanaudière.

The waterspout then tracked towards the shore near 6:00 PM. When the tornado hit the ground, it uprooted a dozen trees and overturned a shed and a pedalo.

The tornado has been rated as an EF-0 with estimated winds at 120 km/h.
