In Canada we have it all. The hot, the cold, the wet. But our weather has nothing on these extreme global records.
The lowest temperature noted was -89.2°C in Vostok, Antarctica.

Death Valley, California holds the highest temperature record at 56.7°C set in 1913.

The greatest rainfall in 24 hours was at Foc-Foc, La Réunion during Cyclone Denise when 1825 mm of rain fell from January 7 to 8, 1966.
