Extreme Drought Prompts a State of Emergency in Utah

A state of emergency has been declared in Utah  as an extreme drought take a grip on the State.

The extreme drought follows what was a very dry Summer.

The U.S. Drought Monitor says the every county in the state is experiencing some type of drought condition.

In fact 16 of the 49 major Utah reservoirs are below 20 percent.
