Extreme Cold Returning to the Prairies

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Friday, March 1, 2019

The start of the month of March won't feel all that Spring-like in parts of the Prairies.

The jet stream will sink as far south as Texas and as a result, cold air will invade the Prairies and much of the Rockies, Plains, and Midwest.

Extreme cold conditions will spread throughout most of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba by Saturday morning.

High's on Saturday
  • Winnipeg -17°C
  • Regina 22°C
  • Saskatoon 21°C
  • Calgary 18°C
  • Edmonton 18°C
The good news is that no storms are on the horizon.
