Extreme Cold Returning to the Prairies

Posted by Kyle Brookings on Monday, January 28, 2019

Beginning on Monday night there will be another shot of cold Arctic air across the prairies.

Widespread extremely cold wind chills are likely.

Extreme wind chills are expected with values of -50 possible, especially in southern Manitoba by Wednesday morning.

This arctic air mass will remain over the region for a couple of days at least.

If you are going outside dress warmly and dress in layers.

Don't forget to bring pets inside.
