The extreme cold will persist across Northeastern Ontario and parts of Southern Ontario early this morning before temperatures moderate somewhat.

The relief will be short lived however... very cold temperatures will return on Wednesday over parts of Northwestern and Far-Northwestern Ontario, as well as parts of North of Superior.

Snow squalls may develop over areas along shores east of Lake Superior, Lake Huron, and Georgian Bay on Tuesday.

On Wednesday an area of low pressure will combine with lake effect that may produce heavy snow over parts of eastern shores of Lake Huron, and northeastern shores of Georgian Bay.
