Earthquake Causes Power Outages in Costa Rica

On Friday a 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck 18.9 km north of Golfito, Costa Rica.

The earthquake caused power outages and caused some minor damage.

There were no immediate reports of injuries. 

Golfito has a population of about 6,000.

It was at a depth of 19 km.

The quake was felt strongly in the region.
