There is the possibility of dust devils this afternoon over the Saguenay and the Lac Saint-Jean areas.

A dust devil is a strong whirlwind of air that raise dust, ranging from small to large. The primary vertical motion is upward.

Dust devils form as a swirling updraft under sunny conditions during fair weather. Over the region today it will be sunny and very dry along with unstable air and light wind.

Should these dust devils form we may see gusts upwards of 80 km/h.
