Investigators are investigating what caused a brush fire in New Hampshire.

A brush fire that is burning near Woodstock, New Hampshire may have been caused by something out of this world.

It may have been caused by a meteorite.

The fire has spread and could burn for days.

A witness says he saw something fall from the sky and slam into the White Mountains.

The White Mountains are a mountain range covering about a quarter of the state of New Hampshire and a small portion of western Maine.

The issue with the witness account is that meteorites are not usually hot when they land. A meteorite is a solid piece of debris from an object, such as a comet, asteroid, or meteoroid, that originates in outer space.
