Daylight Saving Time Might be Killing Us

Daylight saving time was on Sunday, which means we lost an hour of sleep after clocks "spring forward".

This small time change can significantly raise the risk of health-related issues.

Within two days of the time change a 2016 study found that the overall rate for stroke was 8% higher, cancer victims ere 25% more likely to have a stroke, those over the age of 65 were 20% more likely to have a stroke.

It is not only strokes but also there are a 10% increase in heart attacks.

Most adults need seven to nine hours to function properly.
