One family is lucky after a wildfire scorched a large
portion of Hutchinson in Kansas.
In a photo posted to Facebook from the Kansas National Guard
the home is untouched while fire burns around it.
They have cows to thank for their intact home. They had
sprinklers running overtime for several weeks because the cows were eating their
lawn and since they haven't fixed their fence yet.
When Tajchman returned home the cows were still grazing in
the front yard.
So far six people have died. The wildfire is the largest in
the state's history.
