Couple Cold Temperature Records Broken in NS & PE

It was cold across Atlantic Canada on Wednesday.

May areas saw temperatures dip into the minus teens.

In Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island a couple of temperature records fell.

In Nova Scotia, Port Hawkesbury set a new record of -14.3. The old record of -12.5 was set in 1989. Records in this area have been kept since 1875.

Charlottetown also set a new record of -18.4. The old record of -17.2 was set in 1940. Records in this area have been kept since 1872.
