Could the Eastern Pacific Run Out of Storm Names?

In the Eastern Pacific there is Tropical Storm Vicente and Hurricane Willa.

Since storms names so far this year has made it all the way to Willa, the names list is becoming a bit short.

Only Xavier, Yolanda, and Zeke remain.

In the Atlantic and East Pacific, when we have run through the name list they then the National Hurricane Center will use the Greek alphabet : Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon,... etc. . At present there are no plans to retire letters of the Greek alphabet from the list, but if a very bad hurricane occurs with a Greek letter name, this may have to be revised.
