Could See Some Tropical Trouble

The GFS model continues to point toward a Tropical system forming around July 4th and tracking slowly up the east coast being steered by a large Bermuda High, and approaching very close to Nova Scotia & Newfoundland between 15-17th,

However Many models are still in a disagreement, however I am starting to see signs of the NAVGEM picking up on the trend.. and this could be a growing trend.. again it is still to early, but with that said. the GFS has made a few small shifts to the forecast.

The Track seems to be pretty consistent, keeping the storm just barely offshore of Nova Scotia.

the intensity has changed a bit to an even worst scenario.. instead of a moderate tropical storm, the storm is now forecast to become a marginal cat 1 Hurricane once it passes well offshore of cape Cod and Southern Nova Scotia, then weaken very slightly to a 60 knot storm once it makes it closest approach to Nova Scotia.

So with all this said, I highly recommend keep checking my forecast for latest on any incoming changes to this. But it does look like this is becoming more likely.
