Cold Weather Grips the Prairies

Posted by on Monday, February 29, 2016

Last week across the Prairies was just gorgeous but unfortunately we live in Canad so it was back to reality Monday.

Many areas picked up snow yesterday and there was a wind chill near minus 50 in Northern Saskatchewan.

That winter-like pattern will continue this week. Temperatures will be well below seasonable especially in Manitoba and Northern Saskatchewan.

The good news is that not a whole lot of precipitation is likely. Also temperatures will moderate by the weekend.
