Cold across Ontario and Quebec

Saturday was a cold one across Ontario and Quebec. Due to bitterly cold arctic air. It has brought extreme wind chills of minus 30 to minus 40 and the lowest temperatures of the winter season so far. 

At 7 am the minimum temperature of -25.8 C at Pearson Airport is the lowest temperature officially recorded there since 16 January 1994 when the temperature bottomed out at a frigid -31.0.
