Close to 20 People Dead After Severe Storms Stateside

Severe storms ripped across southeastern portions of the United States over the weekend.

Two people were killed by a possible tornado in southern Georgia, four people were killed by a tornado in Hattiesburg, Mississippi

There have been at least 15 deaths in Georgia. Meanwhile there have been one death from high winds in Florida. Authorities are searching for a missing toddler in Dougherty County, Georgia.

There was damage to homes and buildings in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia and Texas.

The Governor of Mississippi, Phil Bryant, declared a state of emergency.
