Classic Fall Storm in NL

Newfoundland and Labrador is seeing a classic fall storm.

Heavy rain, strong wind, and snow will have an impact on our weather over the next 12 hours or so.

Across Newfoundland and extreme southeastern Labrador rain is expected to continue Tuesday into Wednesday. Some areas could see at least 40 mm of rain locally.

Snow will be a concern across Labrador with the potential of 20+ cm for parts of the southeast.

Winds across the province will gust to about 100 km/h. Some areas may see gusts exceeding 100 km/h.

Marine Atlantic has also issued a travel advisory.
