Chilly Records Set in Maritimes

Both New Brunswick and Nova Scotia set some daily minimum temperature record's on Sunday.

In New Brunswick, Grand Manan set a new record of -9.3, the old record was -7.0 set in 2009.

Saint John set a new record of -11.3 beating the old record of -9.7 set in 1999.

In Nova Scotia a new record of -11.0 was set in Truro edging out the old record of -10.6 set in 1920.

Parrsboro tied the record of -10.6 set in 1925.
