An area of low pressure passing over the U.S. Northeast will likely send of snow toward Central and Eastern Ontario on Saturday night.

There could be 5 to 10 centimeters of snow for some areas.

Across Southern Ontario rain is on the menu with 5 to 15 millimeters likely. Rainfall amounts may be highest in the Niagara and Hamilton area.

This snow may pose a significant threat to transportation as roads in these areas are expected to become snow covered.
