cold, freezing, frost
Calgary is known for having some wild temperature fluctuations, but this take the cake.

From October 28 to November 4 the temperature went from a summer-like 24°C to a bone-chilling -19°C. That is a difference of 43 degrees.

When the temperature fell into the minus teens, the wind chill felt close to minus 30.

The weather is expected to remain cold throughout the work week, however by the weekend temperatures will climb a couple of degrees above the freezing mark.

The cold temperatrues caused a spike in stolen vehicles also, police say it is common for thieves to use the vehicles to warm up.
