There has been another large earthquake in Taiwan.

A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck 23 km north-northeast of of Hua-lien, Taiwan at a depth of 9 km.

At least two people were killed and more than 200 others were injured.

Photographs show tilting structures, scattered debris and extensive damage to roads in the area.

Among the several badly damaged buildings was a hospital.

On Sunday there were eight earthquakes.

Earthquakes frequently rattle Taiwan, but most are minor and cause little or no damage.
