BP has put a price tag on the massive oil spill that happened in 2010 in the Gulf of Mexico and it is not loose change.

The final cost is $61.6 billion. Millions of gallons of oil spilled into the Gulf of Mexico for 87 days.

The Deepwater Horizon drilling rig sank in 2010 after a deep-sea well blew out killing eleven employees.

BP had settled most of the claims so far including a $20 billion settlement over economic and environmental damage.
