Blizzard in Churchill and York

A blizzard is expected to develop in Churchill and York. Strong northerly winds of 50 gusting to 70 km/h and reduced visibilities of 400 metres or less in blowing snow. Blizzard conditions will persist throughout Monday and diminish Monday evening as the gradient weakens. 

Also a blizzard over Arviat will move east, and a strong straight line gradient sets up along the southern Hudson Bay coast. Winds will be backing with time from northeasterly to northerly with speeds of 50 gusting 70 km/h.
