Northern Manitoba could end up with 30 cm of snow over the next day or so.

The heavy snow will be combined with very strong wind. This will cause reduced visibility and blowing snow.

Visibilities are expected to be the lowest overnight and into Wednesday morning before seeing gradual improvement Wednesday afternoon/evening.

20 to 30 cm of snow and easterly winds of 50 gusting to 80 km/h are likely in the northernmost areas in Manitoba.

There is some uncertainty regarding snowfall in the Churchill area. The warmer water may help keep some of the precipitation as rain and could help in melting the snow.
