The Ferry, Queen of Surrey, crashed into the dock at Langdale back on Tuesday.

BC Ferries says that the boat will be out of service “indefinitely” so repairs can be made.

There is damage to the hull and rudder.

The Queen of Coquitlam will take over the route in the meantime.

At the time of the crash, there were 300 passengers and 125 vehicles on board.

MV Queen of Surrey is a double-ended C-class roll-on/roll-off ferry in the BC Ferries fleet.

The ship was launched in 1980 and entered service in 1981.
