If you live in Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba you are in for a windy 48 hours.

An area of low pressure will develop over western Alberta Tuesday and will bring strong winds to Alberta and Saskatchewan on Tuesday night and then into southern Manitoba on Wednesday.

Winds gusts of 100 km/h to 130 km/h are expected to develop over Alberta and southwest Saskatchewan Tuesday afternoon.

Winds will diminish Tuesday night in Alberta.

It won't only be wind, but also precipitation.

Thunderstorms are possible in Edmonton and Cold Lake Tuesday afternoon.

30 to 50 mm or rain is possible in northern Saskatchewan, however some areas could see some accumulating snow.
