Atlantic Non Tropical low moves North

Posted by on Sunday, July 12, 2015

A non-tropical low pressure system that is just off the coast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina is spurring some showers.

This low will likely not develop into anything significant as environmental conditions are only marginally conducive for the development of a subtropical or tropical cyclone during the next day or two.

Over the next few days some models show the low bringing some showers to Newfoundland.

The United States National hurricane Center only gives the low a 20 percent chance of forming into a subtropical or tropical cyclone.
